Yamamasa Koyamaen Tennouzan
𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐙𝐀𝐍 – 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐲 & 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞
A matcha worthy of its name, Tennouzan delivers a full-bodied, immersive experience that commands attention. Deep and intense, it opens with flavours of toasted seeds, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee — finishing with a velvety, creamy richness and long-lasting aftertaste. This is not a tea for the faint-hearted; it’s for those who appreciate bold, characterful matcha.
Named after Mt. Tennou, the site of a historic turning point in Kyoto, Tennouzan symbolises strength, transformation, and decisive moments, just like the tasting experience it offers.

Best before date
Matcha doesn’t truly expire. Matcha has best before dates, not expiry dates. The best before simply indicates when it’s at peak freshness. As long as it’s stored well (in a cool, dark place and kept airtight), it’ll still be beautiful to enjoy even after that!
